Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in New Town, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Demolition of existing apartment buildings at 610 & 612 1st St North; and 611 & 613 Eagle Drive, New Town, ND. Single combined Bids will be received from qualifi ed Bidders for all portions of the work. The successful Bidder will be the single Prime Contractor for the Project. This contract is Federally assisted. The Contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standards. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the Contractor and Subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices. Bidders must submit a compliance report in conformity with the President's Executive Order No. 11246. Bid Security in the amount of fi ve (5%) percent of the Bid including all add alternates, must accompany each Bid in accord with 00 1000 - Instructions to Bidders. Bid Bond shall be secured by a surety company acceptable to the Owner and authorized to do business in this State. TERO Project Fees are waived for this Project, per Resolution of the Governing Body of the Three Affi liated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Indian reservation. Refer to Section 00 2011 of the Specifi cations. Contractors are still required to pay fees associated with TERO License fees. NORTH DAKOTA LAW. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by North Dakota Century Code Section 43-07-07; and no bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any bid defi cient in these respects submitted will be re-sealed and returned to the bidder immediately. Bids shall be submitted to the person and place, and by the time indicated in 00 0200 - Invitation to Bid. Bids shall be packaged in accordance with 00 1000 - Instructions to Bidders. THE OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject Bids and to hold all Bids for a period of 30 days after the date fi xed for the opening thereof.
