A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All work shall be constructed in accordance with: The Project Manual; The Virginia Dept. of Transportation Road and Bridge Specs, dated 2020; the Road and Bridge Standards, dated 2016; the Virginia Work Area Protection Manual, 2011 edition; the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2009 edition; VDOT Special Provisions Copied Notes, Special Provisions, and Supplement Specifications; the Virginia Supplement to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, 2011 edition, and the VDOT Locally Administered Project Manual. In the case of any conflict between the documents, the more stringent of the requirements shall prevail. STATE PROJECT # (NFO) 0360-042-V16 Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the construction of improvements necessary to widen the roadway, create new turn lanes, converting depressed grass medians to raised grass medians, and converting the roadway surface drainage from an open system to a closed system, establishing pedestrian accommodations, modification of existing traffic signals and infrastructure, and site work associated with the adjacent Hanover County High School The roadway widening and reconstruction involved the design of a 4 lane roadway to a six and eight lane divided roadway and improvements along Lee Davis Road and to the intersection with Route 360. The proposed roadway baseline was designed generally to align with the existing profile, thus allowing existing drainage patterns to continue.
