Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Millstadt, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of September 23, 2022, they did not proceed with the project. no plan to rebid.** All areas: Order JULIE locate. Mill down as needed on path, parking lot, concrete sidewalk etc. so that there is an even transition made on completion. Grade areas so that water drains away from path and install base as needed. Clean up and haul away all debris. New Path (red): Prep (excavate 10-12" dirt and install 8" base rock and compact with vibratory roller) and install at least 3" commercial grade hot mix asphalt, roll and compact to a smooth finish of 2.5" thick (approximately 7800 sq ft). Existing asphalt path (yellow): Saw cut and remove large cracks and sections that appear to have been milled (remove any roots under path in affected areas). Prep and install at least 3" commercial grade hot mix asphalt, roll and compact to a smooth finish of 2.5" thick (approximately 1400 sq ft). Trim grass edges, clean surface, fill any remaining cracks with a trowel grade crack filler on the path. Apply a commercial grade asphalt sealer with broom at approx. 50 sq ft per gallon (approximately 25,000 sq ft). Block off for 24 hours. Additionally: crack fill both park asphalt parking lots as needed.
