Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shingle Springs, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of March 24, 2026, the project was awarded to R&R Pacific Construction, with an awarded amount of $1,635,989.05. Construction of approximately 0.72 miles of Class II bike lanes (on both sides of Ponderosa Road), approximately 0.36 miles of sidewalk along Ponderosa Road from Foxwood Lane to Ponderosa High School, drainage improvements, and construction of approximately 440 linear feet of retaining wall.Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed. Estimate Number: 36919 A bid security must be provided with each bid. Bid security must be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid for bid and must be cash, a certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of the County of El Dorado or a Bidder's Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to the County of El Dorado on the form provided in the Proposal section of these Contract Documents. The Contract time is EIGHTY (80) WORKING DAYS. For bonding purposes the anticipated Project cost is less than $2,000,000.00. Bids will be considered for award by the Board of Supervisors. The County of El Dorado reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interests of the County.
