B. Project Summary: South Buncombe Branch Library is located at 260 Overlook Road, Asheville NC, 28803. The County is interested in expanding the parking to the east side of the facility, adjacent to Buncombe County Schools property. Services provided by the firm or individual must include, but are not limited to: o Civil design for the project. o Design should include specifications for grading, pavement, curbs, parking layout, lighting, and accessible sidewalks. o Design should include storm water improvements due to the addition of impervious surfaces. o Submittals to the City of Asheville, Buncombe County, and any other Authority for any and all permits required. o Compilation of drawings for bidding and construction. o Bid administration. o Construction administration. o The selected firm will work with the County and the contractor(s) to develop a plan for maximizing the recycling of materials in the demolition/construction process, minimizing the material going to the landfill.
