Shade contractor to install columns and pour concrete cover fill, complete shades installation and coordinate & assist with the site improvements contractor. 30'x30' modular shade structures as provided in contract I. Site improvements - all labor, materials, and equipment required to provide site improvements for 2 shade structures. Work to include but, not necessarily limited to, demo of (e) conc walks, grading, scarifying & compacation, locate, cut & cap (e) irrigation lines beyond limit of construction, removal of all irrigation & sprinkler lines out of construction area. Salvage (e) irrigation heads & return to district. Provide and install concrete walks, benches, curbs, concrete footings for ltg. And installing ltg. Fixtures. Provide trenching, underground conduits & connecting all power & grounds. Coordinate w / modular shade structure manufacturer to ensure a complete & functional installation. Pre-Qualification is required on this project for General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Underground Pipeline Contractor/Subcontractor Licenses (License Classifications A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43 and C-46). If your license classification is required, and you are not on the prequalification list, you must submit a prequalification packet no later than 10 business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids, and must be announced as prequalified no later than 5 business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening of sealed bids. Please note the prime contractor and their subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and maintain valid registration for the duration of the project. Federal funds are being used either in whole or in part for this project (see the Instructions to Bidders), therefore this project is subject to, and CONTRACTOR must comply with, all applicable Federal laws including but not limited to the Federal Regulations set forth in CFR Title 2, Part 200.
