Contract is expected to be awarded at the September 2022 Commission Meeting and will consist of culvert repairs between Milepost 109 and 124 on the Garden State Parkway. The estimated duration for construction is twenty-six (26) months, including contract closeout and the estimated cost is approximately $21,000,000. To qualify as a prequalified consultant, a Firm must have on file with the Authority a current "Professional Service Prequalification Questionnaire" (PSPQ) package prior to submission of the EOI. A current PSPQ is one that has been on file with the Authority for no more than 24 months, or in certain cases for no more than 12 months. Only those Firms who have been prequalified for the specified profile code(s) this project entails will be considered. Prequalification is not required for subconsultants. Prequalification is required for Joint Ventures. The Authority has adopted a Disabled Veteran Owned Business (DVOB) Enterprise Program (the DVOB Program). Under the DVOB Program, Firms interested in being considered for this OPS agree to make a good faith effort to award at least three (3) percent of the assignment to those businesses that meet the requirements and have been registered by the Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services/Department of Treasury as a Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprise. Firms shall demonstrate how they will utilize DVOB Firms in order to achieve the 3% goal and add value to the project team Firms that are interested in being considered for these services must submit a total of five (5) copies of their Expression of Interest (EOI), ne (1) PDF copy uploaded to the Authority as well as four (4) hard copies, delivered to the Authority Headquarters on or before the date and time. Inquiries pertaining to this RFEOI are to be directed in writing to Meri Hom, via e-mail to hom@njta.com. The deadline for inquiries is July 19, 2022. The Authority will respond to all written inquiries received. Each inquiry will be stated, and a written response provided. Responses will be posted on the Authority on or before July 20, 2022. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
