Notice is hereby given by the Town Council of the Town of Haubstadt, Indiana, that sealed bids will be received by the said Council for the furnishing and applying of bituminous materials upon the streets of the Town of Haubstadt, Indiana as authorized by the said Council. All materials, equipment, and construction procedures shall be in accordance with the latest specifications of the Indiana State Highway Commission or as directed by the Town Council. All bids shall be submitted on forms supplied by the Town of Haubstadt and bidders shall furnish a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of $500.00. All bidders shall provide a form 96. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction bond in the amount of it's bid to guarantee full performance of the contract. All successful bidders for applying materials must complete all work on or before November 1, 2022, or be subject to a penalty of one percent (1%) for each day beyond that date that the work is not completed. The Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any parts of any bids.
