Sealed Bids for Providing Sanitary Sewer Trunkline Excavation and Repair Services will be received by the Clerk of the Second River Joint Meeting ("Second River") for: Providing Sanitary Sewer Trunkline Excavation and Repair Services to the Second River's sanitary trunk line collection system for a period of two(2) years in accordance with the Specifications and Information to Bidders prepared by the Second River Joint Meeting. No Bids shall be received other than at the time and place herein designated for their receipt, unless mailed to the Second River Joint Meeting for receipt at the designated time and place. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Bid made payable to the Second River Joint Meeting, but in no case in excess of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000), must be submitted with the Bid with a guaranty that if a Contract is awarded, the Bidder shall execute said Contract. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. (Affirmative Action Program, Equal Employment Opportunity). These Bids are being solicited through a Fair and Open Process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with all of the provisions of New Jersey prevailing local wage rates, as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry. Such Performance Bond must be furnished by the successful Bidder simultaneously with the delivery of the executed Contract by such Bidder. Further, the successful Bidder must furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance required by the Bid Documents. Each Bidder shall submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of the Bid enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Second River Joint Meeting, bearing the name of the Bidder, upon which shall be designated: BID: Providing Sanitary Sewer Trunkline Excavation and Repair Services The Second River Joint Meeting reserves the right to reject any and all Bids as applicable within this Proposal, to waive any informality or to accept the Bid which, in its judgment, shall be in the best interest of the Second River Joint Meeting.
