Description: The contractor shall conduct a Phase I Archaeological Survey of Outlying Field 8 (OLF-8) (Figure 1) prior to any ground disturbance as specified in the First Amendment to the Land Exchange Agreement between the United States of America Department of the Navy, and Escambia County, FL. The contractor shall conduct reviews of the extant technical literature and the site files as well as systematic shovel testing of the on the 540.8931 acres parcel located North of Nine Mile Rd, South of Frank Reeder Rd, West of the Navy Federal Credit Union Campus, and approximately East of Beulah Rd, parcel ID 051S311101000000. While the development footprint is proposed to span approximately 424 acres, the Area of Potential Effect (APE) is defined as the parcel boundaries.
