OC Waste & Recycling (OCWR) is issuing this IFB for Operations and Maintenance Services of Groundwater Control, Monitoring, and Water Supply Systems at North Region Landfills. Attendance is mandatory in order to participate in the solicitation process. Failure to attend this job-walk will render the solicitation non-responsive. Under no circumstances will an alternative job-walk be granted unless due to acts deemed Force Majure. Qualified bidders intending to submit a solicitation must have their meeting representative arrive on time and remain for the entire meeting. Anyone arriving after the vans have departed to tour the service areas will be disqualified and not allowed to submit bids. All proposers must sign-in to continue in the solicitation process. This rule will be strictly adhered to without exception or consideration of cause. Any proposal submitted for which proposers have not been represented at this mandatory pre-proposal site meeting/job-walk will be rejected. The mandatory pre-proposal site meeting/job-walk will establish a list of firms eligible to submit bids. The purpose of the site meeting is to familiarize Proposers with the areas of the landfills where there are service needs, to answer questions on the IFB and to discuss any technicalities of the proposed scope of work. Contractors shall indicate their intent to attend the pre-proposal meeting/job-walk with an RSVP email to alan.araujo@ocwr.ocgov.com no later than July 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
