As of December 12, 2022, an architect has been selected for the project. Bidding is estimated to take place in spring of 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City issues this RFP to seek proposals from qualified architectural/engineering firms to provide design and engineering services in support of various construction and renovation improvements to the Kentwood Fire Station No.1 (Fire 1) located at 4775 Walma Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49512 and the Kentwood Department of Public Works (DPW) located at 5068 Breton Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 (the "Sites"). These projects (the "Projects") will include but are not limited to design services for the potential movement of walls, addition and reconstruction of offices and common areas, addition of a fitness room and unisex showers, an addition (or retrofit) of showers, and other associated work.
