Site work for a road / highway in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement to complete repairs at the Km 897 Washout by installing two 2.1m diameter culverts (150m in length each), fill material, and road base to safely re-open the roadway to the public. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Excavation of material, with cut slopes of approximately 40m in height 2. Installation of temporary access to the site 3. Installation and backfill of two 2.1m diameter Culvert segments (smooth walled steel pipe) 150m in length each, and Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) to be supplied by Canada, field splices to be welded by the Contractor 4. Transportation and installation of embankment material, supplied by Canada from a nearby source 5. Transportation and installation of granular road base materials, supplied by Canada from a nearby source 6. Cleaning and grouting of existing 900mm diameter culvert currently obstructed To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000.
