Closing Time: 2:30 PM (NT) This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. The scope of work for this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for existing breakwater and boat launchway repairs at Rocky Harbour, NL, in strict accordance with the accompanying drawings and specifications and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: Removal of existing shoreline rock armour stone. Store on site and reinstate during placement of new armour stone including rip rap rock that will be placed for new shoreline protection. Repair the existing launchway with new pressure float concrete under existing concrete slab. Install new rip rap rock along the sides of the existing lauchway as indicated on drawings. Supply and placement of new granular base materials as indicated on drawings.
