Remove existing edge metals according to the building products manufacturer's specifications. 2. Haul away all debris. 3. Clean surface in preparation for the new roof system. 4. Install a coverboard. a. Coverboard shall be fiberboard or an approved equivalent. b. Coverboard shall be %" thickness. c. Mechanically fasten to roof decking at the rate of 16 fasteners per 4'x8' board in the field, 16 fasteners per 4'x8' board at the perimeter, and 24 fasteners per board on the corners. d. Fasteners shall penetrate the decking no less than 3/4". 5. Fully adhere EPDM over new coverboard. a. EPDM shall be 60 mil thickness b. Bonding adhesive shall be installed at the rate of 2 gallons per square. 6. All penetrations are to receive new flashings per manufacturers specifications. 7. Provide complete NDL system warranty. a. Warranty shall be 15-year Total System Warranty. b. Warranty shall cover materials and labor. c. Warranty shall not be prorated. d. Repair work must be completed by a licensed contractor to maintain warranty. 8. Traffic on roof area shall be kept to a minimum.
