Site work and paving for a road / highway in Yorba Linda, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
City wishes to select a qualified firm to prepare final design/final bid documents (plans, specifications & cost estimate- PS&E) for the Yorba Linda Blvd. Widening & the Savi Ranch Parkway Widening and to provide final environmental documentation (National Environmental Policy Act - NEPA) for the Yorba Linda Boulevard Project. The successfully selected firm will be providing professional engineering services for each project separately. It is the City's intent to hire one firm for both projects. A proposal fee schedule will be submitted separately for each of the two projects. Subsequently, the successful firm will be submitting two invoices, one for each project, as the work progresses. Two separate bid (PS&E) packages shall be prepared by the selected firm. Due to likely funding scenarios, it should be assumed that Savi Ranch Parkway will be constructed prior to Yorba Linda Boulevard. Therefore, overlapping improvement modifications should be considered in the Yorba Linda Boulevard bid package. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
