Renovation of a residential development in La Porte City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Sealed proposals will be received on general contracts for the rehabilitation of two (2) homes in the City of La Porte City, IA. This work is being financed through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). This work is funded by federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. You are invited to bid on this project as the General Contractor. To be eligible, a bidder must be a Lead Professional Firm or Lead Abatement Contractor certified by the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH), and all workers conducting lead-based paint activities must be Lead Safe Renovators or Lead Abatement Workers certified by IDPH. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive what are, in its sole opinion, minor irregularities of any type or nature that are not material.
