A timeline for construction has not yet been established.** Marlin Independent School District is accepting written proposals from qualified firms to provide: design-build architectural, engineering, demolition, and construction services for development of a track, turf football field, pressbox, stadium renovations and fencing to be located at Legion Field located, FM 2958 -- Marlin, Texas 76661. The proposed project is intended to contain the following amenities: Legion Field-Running Track Eight Lane Certified Track Construction Synthetic turf field construction at the field area inside the proposed eight lane track. New Field Event Locations for High Jump, Long Jump, Pole Vault, and Throwing Fencing around the perimeter of the Field/complex Renovate existing restrooms Renovate existing concession stands Renovate existing ticket booths Demo of old field house Renovate existing bleacher structure and parking lot All required electrical, mechanical, and civil design and construction to meet all required needs, included but not limited to updated lighting, audio for announcing, water, sewer, ADA compliance and electrical.
