The Work Contract consists of the addition to and remodel of the existing Pride Center at Oregon State University. The addition will consist of a gathering space, dining room, kitchen and covered outdoor spaces. The existing building will be remodeled to include a new office, two shared restrooms, quiet room, custodial closet, workroom and storage. The existing basement will not be remodeled. There is no change of use or occupancy proposed. The project will include new HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, improved accessibility and a reroof of the existing building and attached garage. The project site is 1553 SW A Avenue on the Oregon State University Campus, Corvallis, Oregon. B. Work shall be started within ten (10) calendar days after signing of Contract on behalf of Oregon State University. The Contract may not be signed prior to approval of the Contractor's Certificate of Insurance by Construction Contract Administration (CCA), Oregon State University. Work shall be completed within 240 calendar days of date of executed Contract. Substantial Completion is expected to be May 12, 2023. The project includes renovation of the existing the Pride Center structure and construction of a new addition on its west side. The addition will include a newly designed kitchen space, gathering space, dining room, and covered outdoor space. The renovation of the existing structure will include a new office, restrooms, a quiet room and storage. The basement will not be remodeled as part of this project. The project includes new HVAC, site work to include a new west sidewalk and campus light poles, landscaping of the double lot, improved accessibility access, and a re-roof of the existing building and attached garage.
