The Jacksonville Transportation Authority hereby requests Sealed Bids for ITB No. 22-006, Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) Shop Door Replacement. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide replacement and installation of commercial shop doors for JTA facilities as further detailed in the Scope of Work. All Bidders are hereby notified that the DBE requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 do apply to this Solicitation. The DBE participation goal for this Contract is 10%. It is the policy of the Authority to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this Contract. The Authority encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this Solicitation, regardless of business size or ownership. The Contract shall commence upon the Authoritys issuance of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Substantial Completion shall be achieved within ninety (90) calendar days. Each Bid must contain a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Treasurers Check, and/or Official Bank Check. The Bid Security shall be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid price. A Bid Bond must be issued by a fully qualified Surety company, both acceptable to the Authority and listed as a company currently authorized under 31 CFR, Part 223 as possessing a Certificate of Authority as described thereunder. In submitting this Bid, the Bidder understands and agrees that the Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of Bids, without the written consent of the Authority. The Contract, if awarded, shall require a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract price from the awarded Contractor. Question Deadline 07/26/2022 at 12:00 PM ET
