Sealed bids will be received by the Hamilton County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District for the following: UPS Systems Full Battery Replacement Selection will be awarded to the proposer submitting the most responsive and responsible bid. The Hamilton County 9-1-1 ECD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any informalities in the solicitation process and to accept any bid which may be in the best interest of the District. Contractor will provide battery replacement service, to include: 1. Full-string battery replacement for below Liebert NX UPS Systems a. Unit 1 - provide thirty (30) UPS batteries, model # 16HX550 b. Unit 2 - provide thirty (30) UPS batteries, model # 16HX550 2. Freight and handling details a. Contractor will be responsible for scheduling of delivery and the unloading at the site on the day of installation. b. District does not have a receiving dock nor facilities for receiving or storing of batteries. c. Battery cabinets are located underground with no elevator access. Contractor will either need to carry batteries by hand up and down stairs, or furnish a crane to raise and lower them in bulk through an access shaft located in parking lot. If contractor chooses the crane method, contractor will be responsible for securing the crane company. 3. Delivery and installation will be conducted between: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm. 4. Recycling of old batteries, with documentation meeting EPA requirements. 5. Provide a written report detailing installation to include: a. Factory specifications and compliance. b. Recycling of old batteries per EPA requirements
