Site work and renovation of a civil project in Westlake Village, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the study and design phase of a water quality project for stormwater multi-benefit project for diversion of dry and wet weather flow to sanitary sewer. The previously identified Ridgeford site project has been reprioritized as the Russell Ranch Stormwater Treatment with opportunity to collect flow from the commercial and business park areas that have higher pollutant loading potential. When constructed, this project is expected to help fulfill the City's stormwater volume capture requirements of the Malibu Creek Watershed Enhanced Watershed Management Plan (EWMP). The project was delayed this year due to rescoping and coordination with other agencies to identify sewer diversion as a potential opportunity. This project is included in the City of Westlake Village's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of August 10, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated from 2022 to 2025.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
