The Fargo VAMC requires Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) System inspection and maintenance services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), see below. This is a sources sought/proof of capability solicitation looking for SDVOSB or VOSB to perform the services per the SOW for market research purposes. No awards of a contract will be made from this announcement. If you are a vendor that can complete the work described in the SOW with competitive pricing, please send your information with a description of proof of capability to: Jeffrey.Brown8@va.gov on or before July 24th, 2022. *If applicable, VAAR Provision, 852.219-77 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting --Certificate of Compliance for Services and Construction, will apply to the potential solicitation if set-aside for Veteran Owned Small-Businesses.* Statement of Work: Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) System Inspection and Maintenance Description of Service Provided: Vendor will provide a factory authorized technician to perform inspection, replacement and preventative maintenance of the Fargo campus UPS systems. This system serves the computer system at the medical center. This system consists of the following uninterruptible power supplies: Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX12 Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N EB382KXX27 Eaton Model # 9355-30 S/N BF396KXX23 Eaton Model #93PM-50 S/N EM411UXX05 APC Smart UPS 1500 S/N AS2047342438 Service requirements: 1. Provide one (1) scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) check per year for each UPS during the term of this agreement as described herein. A fifteen (15) day advance notice will be given to schedule PM services. Furnish preventative maintenance service during normal working hours (8:00am to 5:00pm) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Preventative maintenance which includes the general inspection, battery maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of the UPS equipment necessary to keep equipment in operating condition in line with manufacturer's recommendations. 2. Furnish on-caII emergency telephone assistance twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including holidays. 3. Provide unscheduled on-call remedial maintenance within eight (8) hours from 8:00am-5:00pm, five days a week, excluding holidays, following notification that a UPS system is inoperative. 4. The contractor shall bear the cost of labor, travel and expenses provided under this contract for maintaining the specified equipment in good operating condition, when such labor is required because of normal wear and tear. 5. The contractor shall make prior arrangements with the VA for any service that requires shutting down the entire system. 6. Replace batteries as necessary, out of schedule, as determined by facility. Vendor will remove spent batteries, install new battery trays #P-103000933, and provide proper EPA disposal of spent batteries at the beginning of this contract. This includes freight, labor and expenses. Work to be performed during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Monday - Friday.
