BC Parks is proposing a new potable ground water system to replace the existing surface water system that currently services 90 campsites and day-use irrigation system within Paul Lake Provincial Park. The proposed work focuses on Phase 1 of the upgrade to provide all necessary ground works to construct a new 100 mm watermain line, lower balancing reservoirs, well head kiosk, power supply and all other related electrical components. In general, the scope of Phase 1 work includes: Provide all construction set up: public safety, construction zones, tree/danger tree falling Conduct existing water line, electrical wiring detection and field marking to avoid damage to existing infrastructure during ground works Supply and install 705 m of 100 mm PVC DR25 c/w Thrust Blocks Supply and install balancing storage tanks and components Complete a groundwater well system Supply and install a 100-watt well site power supply Supply and install well site communication components Supply and install a 100 mm submersible pump Supply and install all well and reservoir mechanical pipe and fittings Supply and install well site kiosk including control panel and starter Complete the necessary testing, adjustments and system disinfection Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
