Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Alberton, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; and for the construction of a 705-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Alberton and its surrounding area have many resources and services and are looking to build to its resume by developing a new splash pad and washroom building. The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ is for the supply and installation of a new splash pad and washroom building, along with additional required resources, including but not limited to a new supply well and pump control building. The proposed location is adjacent to the Memorial Ball Field, off Prince William Street in Alberton, PE. The site has existing recreational amenities, including a skatepark and a dog park, to go along with the ball field. Based on the configuration of existing infrastructure, the Town has selected the vacant field west of the skatepark as the preferred location for the splash pad infrastructure. The subsequent sections of this RFQ outline the various requirements necessary for the construction and installation of the proposed splash pad system at this site location. Cheque made payable to "Town of Alberton".
