Contract time shall be 180 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each consecutive calendar day thereafter in the amount of FiveHundred Dollars ($500.00). Special Damages - In addition to the amounts provided for liquidated damages, Contractor, in the event of such default, shall pay to the Owner the actual costs reasonably incurred by Owner for engineering and inspection forces employed on the work after the time stipulated for completion of the work. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing his classification as to the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to bid. Each Bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. The outside of the envelope should also bear the Bidder's name, address, and name ofthe project for which the Bid is submitted. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate,sealed and deposited with the Clarksdale City Clerk prior to the hour and date hereinbefore designated. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days afterthe actual date of the opening thereof.
