Weber Elementary School Renovation - Front Entrance Improvements The bids are for a single Prime Contract (general, mechanical and electrical combined) for renovation of restrooms in an existing elementary school. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Awards of Contract is anticipated to commence on or about August 23, 2022. Work may begin immediately following execution of the agreement and is scheduled to be completed by March 10, 2023, in one phase as shown on the Contract Documents. A public hearing will be conducted at a meeting to be held at Iowa City Community School District Educational Services Center Board Room, 1725 North Dodges Street, Iowa City, IA 52245, at 6:00pm., on the 26th day of July, 2022, at which time and place any person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and the estimated cost of said project Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring interpretation of the bidding documents or substitution requests are required to make a written request to the Architect by 5:00 p.m. local time seven calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
