Renovation of a water / sewer project in Decatur, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of October 21, 2022, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** Delivery, set up, and initial operation of bypass pumping of mixed liquor from the return activated sludge [RAS] pump station to the nitrification aeration tank [NAT] structure to facilitate isolation of the RAS pump station combined pumping discharge header. After bypass is established, three (3) 12" gate valves and three (3) 12" check valves will be replaced and tested. Upon completion of valve replacement, the bypass and isolation devices shall be removed and the RAS pump station shall be returned to operations.
