As of July 29, 2024, a construction manager at risk has been selected and this project is in the pre-construction/negotiated status. It is anticipated bidding will commence late spring 2025 and construction will start late summer 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) invites qualified firms to submit proposals for the Advanced Purified Water Facility at American Flat CMAR Services. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the Documents and Requirements as set forth in the formal "Request for Proposals." The Project goal includes production of category A+ Advanced Purified Water (APW), meeting the State of Nevada category A+ requirements and testing of feasibility and operational aspects of aquifer storage and recovery using APW at the American Flat site. THIS IS A FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECT. Federal Funding has been provided in part through the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) through the Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) and potentially other Federal funding sources including but not limited to Title XVI and EPA. Special Federal Conditions apply to this project and are included in the package. A pre-proposal/site visit will NOT be held. TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept the Proposal which is deemed by TMWA to be in the best interest of TMWA. TMWA also reserves the right to waive technical errors and/or informalities in the proposal process.
