Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Camilla, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

For furnishing all labor, materials, services, and equipment for the City of Camilla's 2022 Street Resurfacing Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of not less than five (5%) percent or $25,000, whichever is greater, ofthe total bid in the manner required by the instructions to bidders. Payment and Performance bonds of 100% ofthe project value will be required ofthe selected bidder. The City of Camilla reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, or to re-advertise for bids. Unless pre-qualified, each bidder shall submit Proof of Competency to the Owner with bid as directed in the Instructions to Bidders. The project shall consist of full width leveling, patching and some shoulder repairs, and resurfacing that meets or exceeds all GDOT requirements. Liquidated damages shall be assessed as follows: A) For failure to begin work which includes starting applicable mix designs within 10 days of signing the notice to proceed and physical roadway construction within 20 business days ofsigning the notice to proceed: $500.00 per day penalty. B) For failure to achieve final completion within 60 days of Notice to Proceed: $500 per day penalty. C) For failure to cleanup and remove equipment satisfactorily within two (2) days from when streets are completed: $300 per day penalty.
