Update: Bolivia By-Pass Transmission Force Main Project is included Brunswick County Fiscal Year 2026-2030 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project is in included in the Brunswick County FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Funding is allotted for FY 2025. Brunswick County is requesting qualifications statements from qualified engineering, environmental, and water resource firms for the services associated with design of a force main transmission system for the Bolivia By-Pass Transmission Force Main Project. The project consists of approximately 38,500' of 20" and 4,000' of 24" force main from the intersection US Hwy 17 (Old Ocean Highway) and US Hwy 17 South Near Reynolds Lane SE, continuing southwest along US Hwy 17 South until the intersection of US Hwy 17 South and Benton Road (south of Bolivia). Brunswick County reserves the right to request financial information for any firm in order to support the viability of the firm. Brunswick County reserves the right to refuse or reject any or all qualifications and to waive any and all formalities, irregularities, or technicalities. Brunswick County reserves the right to select the firm that best meets its needs and negotiate a final Scope of Work that reflects the work to be done and the budget constraints. Based upon the number of qualifications statements received, the County may subsequently request oral presentations as a part of the selection process.
