Renovation of a municipal facility in Dandridge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Jefferson County Purchasing Department / Director Facilities & Safety will be accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors for "Backup Generator" at the Jefferson County Workhouse (old Sheriff's Department/Jail). Specifications are as follows: o Demo old unit and tear down enclosure o Install new 50KW 120/208-volt Generator with 200-amp automatic transfer switch o 135 Gallon Day Tank will be filled to 75% capacity o Complete generator backup system installs o Electrical permit and inspection included o Must work in occupied environment o Must be orderly and neat o Must clean up job site daily o All waste material from old enclosure to be disposed of by owner Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to Waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of bids. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the county of Jefferson. Jefferson County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex, as provided by title vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and as amended, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.I. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
