Town of Francesville, Indiana,
by and through its Town Council, hereinafter referred to as the Town, will receive sealed proposals for the following services:
Collection and disposal of refuse, including recyclables, from locations
within the Town limits for the term of five years starting January 1, 2023, in
accordance with the Towns Specifications for the Collection and Disposal
of Refuse, including Recyclables (Specifications) approved by the Town
Council.
All services and materials furnished and labor performed incident
to the performance of the contract shall be furnished and performed in accordance with the requirements of the Specifications, available from the
Clerk-Treasurers Office, 100 N. Brooks St., PO Box 616, Francesville, IN
47946.
Each bid response shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing
the legend Refuse & Recyclables Collection and the name and address of
the Bidder.
Failure to execute a contract and to furnish a performance bond as
herein set out will be cause for forfeiture to the Town of the amount of money represented by the certified check or bidder's bond, as and for liquidated
damages.
Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on bid forms
provided by the Town and shall include the Non-Collusion Affidavit and Contractors Form 96, executed by the Bidder, all as required by statute.
No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the
consent of the Town for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time
of receiving same.
No consideration for conditional escalation on unit prices can be considered, and, therefore, bidders are advised not to include any such escalation clauses in their proposals for these services.
