The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing stormstructures, installation of approximately 63 lf of storm sewer, restoration andall necessary appurtenances. The opinion of probable construction costs is$43,220. Each bidder must beregistered as a plan holder with the City of Defiance Proposals must be submitted on the form furnished by the City; must containthe full name of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by abid guarantee of a bond as required in Section 153.54 (A) of the Ohio RevisedCode with a satisfactory surety or accompanied by a bid guarantee of not lessthan per cent of the amount of the proposal by a Certified Check,Cashiers Check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 and Section 153.54of the Ohio Revised Code on a solvent bank, subject to the conditions providedin the Notice to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditionof employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under thecontract. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt ofbids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within Sixty (60) days after the actualopening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
