LLC Contractor Awarded Address: , OR 97603-5921 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $20500 1.1 DESCRIPTION This project is required to replace steel fire-rated doors at the East Comfort Station. Work includes purchase, delivery and installation of doors and accompanying hardware due to a fire event in Aquatic Park. The East Comfort Station is located within Aquatic Park. Aquatic Park is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), National Park Service. The day-to-day operations include staff equipment storage and access to the East Comfort station will continue during the door repair work. All debris shall be minimized and contained as work progresses, and egress to the East Comfort Station for NPS employees shall be maintained. Structure shall be secured for the duration of the project. All work for this contract shall be performed through a contractor. 1.2 GENERAL CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION A. The East Comfort Station is owned by the Department of Interior, National Park Service, herein after called NPS, and is maintained by the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, (SAFR). The East Comfort Station is a historic structure, located within the Aquatic Park Historic Landmark District and care must be taken to protect historic fabric that is outside the scope of this contract. Damage to historic fabric of door system will be repaired or replaced in-kind at Contractors expense. B. Any particulars described for the work involved is given for guidance to the Contractor, however, the Contractor is to take his own measurements, dimensions and counts, and is responsible for the same. C. All work described in this specification is for the preparation and repair work to all designated doors at the Maritime Museum Building. All repairs shall be accomplished in accordance with the provisions of the NPS Contract and Scope of Work. Additional work that will result in additional cost shall be carried out only when authorized in writing by the Contracting Officer. D. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing and disposing of any debris from the work areas of Park that is generated by the Contractor during the workday. E. All disturbed surfaces shall be cleaned and restored to the original appearance by the Contractor. F. The Contractor shall immediately notify the Contracting Officer of any ambiguities, inconsistencies and errors discovered in this specification or between contracting documents and existing conditions. G. Contractor must possess a license issued by the State of California All new and existing dimensions affecting the work of this contract shall be field verified by contractor before ordering materials. East Comfort Station Doors: Furnish, deliver, and install (1) new exterior-rated hollow metal frame door, hinges and door frame, (1) set of new exterior-rated hollow frame metal double-doors, hinges and door frame (1) wooden interior door and hinges. New doors and frames must be the same as existing doors/frames. Metal doors must be galvanneal steel for corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Metal doors must 90-minute fire rated and smoke-seal installed around frame. Single metal door must have a new constant latching deadbolt, prepped for NPS provided IC core cylinder and pull handle. Double doors must have dead bolt and doorknob lock prepped to receive NPS IC cylinder cores. Wooden door must have a deadbolt prepped to receive NPS IC cylinder core and handle. Lubrication on all points of friction, alignments, and adjustments as necessary to insure safe and proper operation must be performed by Contractor. Existing doors, frames and hardware must be removed and disposed of at contractor's expense. The National Park Service (NPS), San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park (SAFR), located in San Francisco County, California, has a requirement for the removal and replacement of steel fire-rated doors at the East Comfort Station within the Aquatic Park. The contractor shall provide all mobilization, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, site rehabilitation, clean-up, and demobilization. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Purchase, delivery, and installation of doors and accompanying hardware The Government intends to award a single, fixed price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price (Technical capability and past performance)as listed in the Request for Quotation (see Section M). Per the requirements of FAR 36.204, the project range is estimated to be less than $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238990, with a corresponding size standard of $16.5 Million. This Request for Quote is a Total Small Business set-aside, pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.502-2. This Solicitation replaces Solicitation 140P8622Q0085 as there were errors in Section M. Submission of Quotes: Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to patty_payne@nps.gov. All quote documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than September 14, 2022 at 8:00 am PDT.
