Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Cortland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District (USACE-Pittsburgh), has a requirement for masonry and door work at the Mosquito Lake Control Tower, Mosquito Lake State Park, Cortland, Trumbull County, Ohio 44410 per attached Specifications document. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, and equipment to perform masonry repairs and replace steel doors on the control tower intake building. All material provided in the performance of this contract shall be new and meet the requirements of the specifications. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after written Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $25,000 and 100,000.00.This acquisition will be procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated resultant award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible vendors are encouraged to participate. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation will not be honored. Vendors MUST be registered and in active status in the System for Award Management (SAM) BEFORE submitting a quote on this Solicitation. Please be aware that SAM requires a Notarized Statement as part of their registration and renewal process. This process could take more than ten (10) days. The applicable NAICS Code is 238140 Masonry Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $15 Million. VENDORS WHO HAVE NOT PREVIOUSLY CONDUCTED BUSINESS WITH USACE-PITTSBURGH: A powerpoint slide presentation is available which will provide information essential to new contractors to help them navigate the USACE-Pittsburgh quoting process. It will also aid vendors in their decision as to whether or not to quote, as it contains information on what will be required post-award, should an award be made. This includes but is not limited to submittals, timelines, deadlines and milestones, and other necessary paperwork that is required on the part of the vendor. This training is NOT mandatory in order for a particular quote to be considered. Rather, it is solely intended as a means to assist prospective vendors in becoming better prepared to work with USACE-Pittsburgh.
