The California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA) invites you to review and respond to this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #RW2221004 entitled TRADITIONAL AND ULTRAVIOLET (UV) WATERBORNE WOOD FINISHES. In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions found herein. CALPIA does not accept alternate contract language from a prospective vendor. A bid with such language will be considered a counter proposal and will be rejected. CALPIA's General Provisions (GP's) are not negotiable. California Prison Industry Authority is soliciting for Traditional and Ultraviolet Waterborne Wood Finishes for its Furniture Enterprises in Avenal and Soledad, CA. This IFB covers the estimated two (2) year requirement of TRADITIONAL AND ULTRAVIOLET (UV) WATERBORNE WOOD FINISHES for the California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA) Furniture Enterprise. This enterprise is currently located at the following correctional institutions: Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, CA and Avenal State Prison in Avenal, CA. Term: Any contract resulting from this solicitation will expire after two (2) years regardless of the amount purchased, unless extended or terminated. The contract resulting from this solicitation may be extended for one (1) year by mutual agreement of CALPIA and the contractor.
