The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with qualified firm to provide janitorial/custodial services for the facilities at Millennium High School. Services include the items described in the Scope of Work but may also include related services that are typically provided in the course of normal industry practices. The work performed under this contract may include, but is not limited to, the items as listed in this specification. Actual work performed and task frequencies will be determined during final negotiations between the District and contractor. Clean: Baseboards Ghosting on whiteboards Door kickplates Gym bleachers Furniture and seating Glass and mirrors TV screens Exterior of appliances Hard water stains / deposits Light fixtures (up to 10') Partitions and doors Tile surfaces Trash containers Windows inside and out (up to 10') Clean and disinfect: Toilet bowls Urinals Restroom fixtures and partitions Locker rooms Desktops Telephones Washbowls and sinks Water fountains Door handles and light switches Deep clean: Tile and grout Cafeteria tables Strip and wax VCT flooring Walls, window ledges, doors and door frames Upholstered furniture Carpets using truck mounted extraction Miscellaneous: Dust blinds, furniture, flat surfaces, high surface areas and vents up to 10' Remove spider webs up to 10' Empty pencil sharpeners, trash and recycling cans and replace liners Take all trash, cardboard and recyclables to the appropriate site collection bin Extract and spot clean carpets Spray buff / burnish hard floors Mop hard surfaces Remove graffiti Report needed repairs Straighten furniture Restock consumables Sweep/dust hard floors Vacuum Green Cleaning Program: District may desire to adopt a "green" cleaning initiative. The program may include but is not limited to: Certified sustainable chemicals, products, tools and equipment Indoor air quality monitoring Recycle program Duct cleaning Filter changes Greenguard and/or Green Seal complaint products and processes Special Projects: The District may have the need to have various project based services performed that may include but are not limited to: Floor restoration Post construction clean-u[ Disaster/emergency clean-up Event set up and clean-up Outdoor pressure washing Exterior window washing Question Submission Deadline:July 29, 2022, 11:00am Question Response Deadline:August 2, 2022, 3:00pm It is the intent of the District to award a multi-term contract, beginning on the date of award and continuing for a period of one year. If all conditions are met during this period, this contract can be extended, if funding is available, for up to four additional one-year contracts or any portion thereof. However, no contract exists unless and until a purchase order is issued each fiscal year. A contract under this bid will be awarded to a single vendor. The award will be limited to the least number of offerors that the District determines is necessary to meet the needs of the District. The District will not be accepting partial bids
