VTA will enter into a contract with Quincy Engineering on/or before January 2, 2023. VTA seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide the engineering services for the improvements on the US-101 interchange along SR-152/10th Street in Gilroy, California, from Automall Parkway/Chestnut Street and Camino Arroyo (Project). The Project's improvements to be studied under this RFP may include, but are not limited to, widening the existing 10th Street bridge from four lanes to six lanes, upgrading the northbound and southbound US 101 on- and off-ramps, constructing intersection improvements between Automall Parkway/Chestnut Street and Camino Arroyo, implementing "Complete Street" elements, and improving bicycle and pedestrian connectivity. Recent conditions, including land uses and traffic patterns, may lead to considerations for other improvements. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
