Pre-qualification Period with the Board having two (2) one (1)-year options to renew. A performance and payment bond shall be required for each Project over $50,000.00 awarded to a qualified Respondent in the amount of the base contract price for such Project. The qualified Respondent shall acquire the bond(s) at its own expense. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price will be accepted. The Board reserves the right to (i) select one or more Respondents to provide the ("Services") outlined herein; (ii) reject any and all responses; (iii) identify any areas where a conflict of interest may require limitations on a respondent; and (iv) add additional pre-qualified candidates at any time to ensure an adequate representation in all areas of service. A Respondent may only propose in one capacity: either individually, as a joint venture, a partnership, a corporation, or other type of legal entity. A "partnership", "joint venture" or "sole proprietorship" operating under an Assumed Name must be registered with the Illinois County in which located, as provided in the Assumed Business Name Act (805 ILCS 405.0.01, et. seq.). This second supplemental rfq (and the rfqs that it is supplementing - specification numbers 20-350026 and 21-321) contained new categories of trade/craft services not included in prior rfq solicitations as follows: 1) artificial turf repair; 2) audio visual; 3) backflow; 4) fire pumps and alarms; 5) kitchen exhaust hood system cleaning; 6) kitchen exhaust hood system repair and maintenance; 7) pool repair; 8) roofing ii; 9) playground equipment supply, installation, and repair; and 10) athletic equipment supply, installation, and repair. In addition, this second supplemental rfq adds two (2) new categories not included in either specification number 20-350026 or 21-321 as follows: 11) custodial equipment repair; and 12) boardging up buildings. A MBE/WBE Networking Session will follow immediately after the Pre-Submittal Conference.
