Reference number : 1625150 Review Title : Call for tenders Summer and winter road maintenance Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-08-01 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The Municipality of Sacré-Coeur will receive until 3 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022, tenders for road maintenance during the summer and winter seasons. The contract will be awarded for a period of three (3) years, i.e. for the summers of 2023, 2024 and 2025 (Option A) and for the winters of 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 (Option B) with a possibility of renewal for the summers of 2026 and 2027 (Option A.1) and for the winters of 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 (Option B.1) . The Municipality reserves the right to extend the contract for a maximum of 2 years according to options A.1 and B.1. The specifications will be available during normal office hours of the Municipality of Sacré-Coeur, located at 88, rue Principale Nord in Sacré-Coeur, G0T 1Y0, telephone number: (418) 236-4621. The opening hours of the municipal office are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The price of the tender must include all work and all inherent expenses, including provincial, federal, municipal and school taxes. It is therefore a fixed price contract. The submission must be made on the forms provided by the Municipality and appended to the specifications. The price must be indicated for each of the years in the contract. The length of the paths, as appearing in the specifications, is given for information only, the tenderer must verify for himself the length of the paths to be maintained, as well as the extent and complexity of the work to be done. The submission may be treated by the Municipality as a global submission, all taxes and fees included. In this case, the contract must be awarded to the lowest substantially compliant bidder for three (3) years. The bid, under penalty of being disqualified, must be accompanied by a bid bond representing a total amount of ten percent of the amount of the bid (10%) or a certified check in the amount of $25,000.00 or a bank commitment valid and cashable at any time made payable to the Municipality of Sacré-Coeur, which may be replaced by the tenderer having obtained the contract by a performance bond. The check or the bank commitment will be given to the unsuccessful tenderers within a maximum of 10 days following the opening of the tenders. The Municipality does not undertake to take the lowest or any of the tenders received and will not be liable for any damages resulting from a request or refusal of a tender. All submissions must be accompanied by the following documents: The price schedule form, as annexed to the duly completed specifications; Documents and/or resolutions, as provided for in article 5.8 of the specifications; Any other document, authorization, permit or certificate required in the specifications. All tenders must be presented in a sealed and clearly identified envelope in accordance with the specifications of the Municipality. Regardless of the method of sending that the tenderer chooses to adopt, any tender, to be valid, must be prepared in two (2) copies on the official forms provided for this purpose and be placed in a sealed envelope in an envelope which the words BID FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF MUNICIPAL ROADS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SACRÉ-COEUR must be indicated in the lower left corner. The Municipality of Sacré-Coeur does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders and declines all responsibility with regard to the tenderers.
