Renovation of a mixed-use development in Stuart, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The bidder must agree in writing that any bids submitted by him will be irrevocable until the Contract has been awarded or all bids have been rejected. A period for this determination will not exceed thirty (30) days after date of bid opening. Bid security in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to Stuart Public Schools U.S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid exceeding $100,000. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders immediately after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities are retained until the contract is awarded. The successful bidder shall be required to execute satisfactory PAYMENT, PERFORMANCE and DEFECT BONDS for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount as security for faithful performance of the contract, for payment of all persons performing labor under this contract, the furnishing of materials in connection with this contract and warranty assurance for the one-year period after completion as specified in Section 01 30 00 Administrative Requirements included herein. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities or irregularities.
