Bidders are responsible for making certain bids are delivered to the Purchasing Department. Mailing of a bid does not ensure that the bid will be delivered on time or delivered at all. If bidder does not hand deliver bid, we suggest that he/she use some sort of delivery service that provides a receipt. Lubbock Power & Light assumes no responsibility for errant delivery of bids, including those relegated to a courier agent who fails to deliver in accordance with the time and receiving point specified. Lubbock Power & Light reserves the right to postpone the date and time for opening bids through an addendum. It is the intent and purpose of Lubbock Power & Light that this request permits competitive bids. It is the bidder's responsibility to advise the Lubbock Power & Light Buyer Iif any language, requirements, etc., or any combinations thereof, inadvertently restricts or limits the requirements stated in this ITB to a single source. Such notification must be submitted in writing and must be received by the Buyer Ino later than five (5) business days prior to the bid closing date. A review of such notifications will be made.
