The Town of West Hartford requests proposals from qualified soil scientist, wetland scientist, and/or other appropriately qualified individual in the biological sciences. Consultants to provide wetland soil determination / delineations and wetlands impact analysis as outlined in Section 7 of the Town's Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Regulations for a variety projects throughout the Town of West Hartford. The projects will vary in nature and may include storm drainage improvements, storm drainage cleaning, dredging to third party reviews of applications submitted to the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency. This contract will be mutually renewable for up to a total of three years. The Consultant shall have no more than one week to respond to the Town's request for services under this contract. Services shall be provided by the Consultant within a mutually agreed upon schedule. Addenda and Interpretations: Any request from a prospective bidder for interpretation of meaning of the Request for Proposal shall be made in writing to Tammy Bradley via e-mail tammyb@westhartfordct.gov or fax 860-561-7479 and must be received at least seven (7) days prior to date fixed for bid The Town reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals submitted. The Town also reserves the right to negotiate the cost of this proposal and to award the work to any Consultant other than the Consultant with the lowest cost, if it is in the best interest of the Town. The term of the contracts pursuant to this solicitation shall be from date of award through June 30 2023 and may be annually extended upon mutual agreement of both parties for up to two additional full years (July 1, 2023 - June 30 2024 and July 1, 2024- June 30, 2025). The terms and prices of the contract will remain the same for each year of the contract.
