The Town of Gray is seeking a qualified dealer to provide a 100kw 400-amp Single Phase LP Generator with enclosure and a 400-amp service rated automatic transfer switch. The generator will be located at the Gray Public Library to allow for the use of the library as a warming or cooling shelter. The generator must be fully capable of running all systems of the building, including the elevator. The Town is soliciting proposals from qualified dealers. The selected dealer will work with Director of Buildings and Grounds, Mo Russo. Scope of Work: Supply gensets ready to be installed on pads. Delivery of generator and transfer switch to 5 Hancock Street, Gray, ME 04039. Setting on pads to be done by others. No equipment available to offload. Perform initial startup after all connections are made by others. Proposal Content & Format: Cover letter expressing the dealer's interest in working with the Town of Gray, ability to provide the specified equipment and perform the initial start-up. Total bid amount should be clearly visible. The Director of Buildings and Grounds will be responsible for screening proposals and making a recommendation to the Town Manager and Gray Town Council. The Council will make the final decision regarding selection of a dealer. The Town's goal is for the Council to select a preferred bidder at the August 2, 2022, Town Council meeting.
