Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lynchburg, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will add a northbound right-turn lane on Link Road at the intersection with Boonsboro Road/Rivermont Avenue, with approximately 200 LF of storage and 100 LF of roadway taper. Also included in this project is the addition of a six-foot wide sidewalk on either side of Link Road, the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection and providing signalized pedestrian accommodations. Project is in City of Lynchburg capital budget fy 2025 - 2029 CIP. As of January 24, 2025, project is in the design phase, construction is to be determined. Engineer has been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
