SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to remove and replace existing security fence with new security fence per specifications. Install an automatic gate with keypad and opener and a walk-through gate at specified locations per specifications at Green River Lock and Dam #1 located at 5048 Dam & Lock RD Reed, KY 42451. New fence will be placed in the same place old fence was removed. It will be permitted to use the same holes for posts provided they meet specifications withing this Scope of Work. Prices should include mobilization & de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material, and equipment. The contractor's work and responsibility will include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work will be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein. Work will begin within 10 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 90 calendar days after the NTP. One award will be made from this Solicitation. Install three individual strands of galvanized 12 1/2 gauge four-point barb wire across the top of the entire chain link fence except for specified area around Maintenance Building that will require concertina wire in addition to the barb wire.
