Demolition, site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Gardena, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; and for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center.
The time of completion of contract shall be 40 working days as defined in the latest Standard Specifications for Public Works (Greenbook). Liquidated Damages, as defined in Section 6-9, shall be $1,000 per each consecutive calendar day. Each bidder must submit a proposal to the City, c/o City Clerk in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Said proposal is to be accompanied by a cash deposit, a certified or cashiers check, or a bidder's bond, made payable to the City of Gardena, in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid submitted.
