The subject sites are located at the north end of the South Penticton resort strip that leads to Skaha Lake. It is directly across the Peachtree regional shopping centre. It buffers a mobile home park and a single family home subdivision directly to the east. Two buildings have been identified as unhabitable due to its poor condition and is being slated for demolition. Both buildings are currently vacant. The east building located at 2824 Skaha Lake Road (previously known as Mayfair Motel) is a singlestorey building with two residential units. The wood frame structure was constructed in 1959. The approximate building size is 1,300 sq. ft. The building located at 2872 Skaha Lake Road (Skaha Sunrise Apartments) is a two-storey building with enclosed pool area. The building was constructed approximately in the 1970’s and is made of a wood framed structure over reinforced concrete foundation. It is about 5,500 sq. ft. and accommodated 8 residential units.
