The Tri-County Regional Centre for Educations (TCRCE) objective of this RFP is to make contractual arrangements with qualified contractor(s), which will allow TCRCE to effectively manage three (3) waste streams (organics, recyclables, and residual waste). Contractor(s) will be required to pick up and dispose of organics, recyclables and residual waste on a scheduled basis for Centre sites. Schools have various recycling programs in place and beverage containers etc. may not be available to the contractor(s). Successful Proponent(s) must agree to haul all three waste streams as well, contractor(s) will be responsible for the provision of: maintenance, security and cleanliness of containers supplied by the contractor for the duration of this contract. Pick up times must be pre-approved by TCRCE The intent of this proposal call is to obtain an offer to perform all work associated with this RFP including the Pick-up and Disposal of Recyclables, Organics, and Residual Waste, for a Stipulated Price Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. This three year contract will commence on August 1, 2022 and will terminate on July 31, 2025. The contract may then be renewed for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods at the sole discretion of TCRCE. Proponents may bid on one or more counties as outlined on the bid form. This contract may be awarded in whole or in part to one (1) or more contractors at the sole discretion of TCRCE. Please submit a bid for the specific locations you are interested in supplying. It is not a requirement that a proponent bid on every location noted. Price-based totals are recorded as received at the time of closing. Pricing is subject to review by staff of Procurement for mathematical accuracy. Procurement reserves the right to update totals based on this evaluation and as such the final ranking of vendors may be subject to change.
